Are You Afraid Your Truth is Going to Offend Someone? Check Yourself.

Many of us in this society have been told to keep our mouth shut and be polite so that we do not offend someone or cause problems. Unfortunately, this philosophy has led to millions of people not living their truth and in some instances staying in abusive situations because that is what they were taught to do. Let’s examine this concept a little closer.

Bottom line. Speak your truth always no matter what. This means speaking your truth if you are a dinner or overnight guest, on a first date or in a marriage, when meeting a new friend, and in communication with your children. To speak your truth is to love yourself and that is your number 1 job. If you do not speak your truth you will find yourself in toxic relationships and perpetuate this ridiculous concept to the next generation. Stop. Check yourself. If you are afraid that someone will not love/like you because you speak your truth then this is someone that should not be in your life. It doesn’t matter who they are. If it is a person you can not exclude from your life, like a boss, speak your truth and set boundaries.


Ask yourself this question now. How many people do you have in your life that you feel you cannot speak your truth 100% of the time to? If there is a large number then you have some serious thinking to do. How can you move forward within your situation? What changes can you make? Trust me, 100% truth all the time is the greatest, and most necessary gift, to yourself. You can do it! You are worth it!



At the end of decades of trauma, I sought professional help for chronic PTSD, powerlessness, codependency, and the lack of boundaries. I worked with many wonderful professionals but soon realized that the American mental health system was not able to adequately treat my trauma and I became frustrated as a consumer. As time went on, I worked on myself daily and utilized guidance from my spirit allies and I became stronger. I had battled chronic illness for over 20 years and went from 25 prescription drugs and supplements with out of state treatments for my lymphatic system to zero treatments and 10 drugs and supplements within one year of departure from a toxic environment and daily energy work. I now fill myself, connect to my own source of internal power, and live my truth.
